Bright Lights Date City

So last night I went out and drank many cans of Red Bull and danced the night away until the early hours of the morning and as I walked home I could hear the birds singing away and I knew it was time to hang up my dancing shoes.
I debuted my hot pink dress/top and it went down a treat.
Me and the girls partied in Baby Cream, Newz and Mojo. The first two are a bit random for me to go to, but fun none the less. They are these "celebrity" bars, and often featured in Heat magazine! I'm not a frequent visitor to either and I felt much more at home dancing on the tables in Mojo to The Doors, MGMT and The Jam.
Some of the girls in Liverpool dress amazingly. The effort that goes into their outfits, hair and make up really is incomparable to any other city in England. And whilst we do get a lot of bad press, there is nowhere else who goes makes the effort like our girls. I'm not one to get elaborately dressed like those chicks, but you have to hand it to them, wearing their designer shoes and dresses. These girls are wearing YSL Tributes, and Malene Birger dresses. Like I say, no other city.

So girlies, how was your weekend?! I hope you all had a lovely sunny time.

Another Reason To Be Excited

I changed the HTML on my layout, and now, fingers crossed, I can have big photos on my page!

Yippee

Reasons to be excited.

Happy saturday girls!

The weather is beautiful in Liverpool, the birds are singing and the sun is shining.

Yesterday I treated myself to the new Givenchy Mascara when we were on the ferry crossing. It's amazing. I don't know if it's the brush or the actual product itself, but it really is a winner. It's quite a small size bottle(is it even a bottle!?) but you don't need a lot on the wand to cover your lashes. It was £14, so I don't know how that will compare, if it will be cheaper in England, but then I thought, a Maybelline Mascara is about £8 or £9 anyway so no worries!

When I got back a little package had arrived of a Topshop crop top courtesy of ebay. It's so 90s it's untrue. I really like it though.

Also impressed myself with this little masterpiece I created with some fabric I had. It's really floaty, but has a really nice structure at the same time. I've got a black bandeau and a high waisted black body con skirt, so hopefully that will be my outfit tonight. Just wish I had some huge big chunky shoes to wear with it... Ahh well a chick can dream.

And finally, a little collection of some of the scarves I bought when I was away, all about 90cents.. Bargains galore.
Have a fab day girlies!

I bought Jalouse magazine the other day and it came with a supplement of L'Officiel as well. I really love the magazine! I found some images from the website which I will share with all you pretty ladies...

My first tag!!!

I feel wanted!! Woo woo!
Tagged by the fabulous bimbo Nadine at Bimbo Beautiful

7 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

1) I don't drink alcohol! But that doesn't mean I'm a bore!!! I have more fun than my friends when we go out, and I don't have a hangover! The reason I don't drink is I got diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 19, and when I get drunk, I have a fit. So I tried tried tried to cut alcohol out but just kept getting tempted then having fits. I've cut alcohol out properly since last October(just after my last fit) and I'm going strong! If I don't have a fit for a year, I get my drivers license back!! Plus my mum has promised me a new car!! Woo woo!! Because of this whole epilepsy thing, i've become obsessed with Ian Curtis, Mike Skinner and Ad Rock- All musicians with the condition!

2) I was in an Oasis tribute band when I was 8! Argh, enough said. Looking back it's either really cool, or really embarrassing... You decide!

3) I was in a Busted video! I'm not saying which one, in case my boyfriend reads this, but yeh, haha how funny. I was obsessed with them. I was actually convinced I was going to marry Charlie.

4) I'm studying International Fashion Marketing at Manchester Met. This is my third year, which is a placement year. I was working last year for 6 months at Polo Ralph Lauren as a Buyer's Admin Assistant, and when I got back to Liverpool I started a journalism course, as I really want to get into fashion journalism. This course has been so good for me, opened up so many doors. I'm made up I didn't stay down there any longer. Everything happens for a reason!

5) I've got a long scar up the back of my leg! When I was about 8 and was swinging in a tree, and swang right into a rose bush! Ouch! Love war wounds though!

6) I've got two tattoos! One is a song lyric that my brother wrote, and another is the name my granny used to call me when I was little. My next one planned(if I get another) is going to say Happy Valentines Day because my Mum's birthday is 14th February.

7) I've been with my boyfriend for 1 year, 3 months, 27 days and about 11 hours, give or take a few seconds.

I pray he won't find this blog!

Ok, so I tag

Right so now, here is the 4th photo randomly in the "My Pictures" folder of my mac. It's of me and 3 of my best friends in Benicassim last year.
So girls do it! Have fun!
Bon Soir!!

No more pain... No more drama....

OH MY GOSH! I'm stuck in France, alone with my dog. Long story short, it's so boring!
So in the hotel I'm staying in, the lights go out at 11pm! And in France right now it's 10:15, so this is going to be short.
What a pain in the ass this trip has been. The weather has been great though, and I have stocked up on quite a few different French fashion magazines which will last me until my next visit over here.

HOTS AND NOTS

HOTS
Twilight
It's a good job I wasn't 13 when this film came out, or I would be some mad new romantic goth. I think my Busted obsession was bad enough...

Headscarves
I've bought about 5 different scarves since being in France, all about €1 each which is always good. I've had them wrapped around my head whilst doing revision, keeping my hair out of my eyes.

French Supermarkets
Boy oh boy do the French love their arts and crafts. There are some lovely little bargains ready to be snapped up for summer loving jewellery diy's.

St. Tropez
I bought two bottles of St. Tropez in TK Maxx in March, for a tenner each and I'm just coming to the end of the second bottle, and I do love it. It is perfect coverage. It simply tans where you apply it. No streaks. Yummy Bronzing.
Asprin
My mum simply replied, "no" when I told her I've been using a soluble asprin to clean my face as well as using my Clinque bar, but it works a treat! Can't remember whose blog I saw it on, but I thought I'd give it a go, and you can really tell a difference.

NOTS
Ice Cream
The choice of ice cream in France is unreal. We've had Creme Brulee, Praline, Chocolate Mousse - it was like actual mousse - incroyable. However, it is a not, as it is Benicassim soon and ice cream is no friend of my thighs.

French Supermarkets
Rural France is no fan of high fashion, but I think I spied a suede tassled waistcoat in a shop earlier this week so I may go and buy it tomorrow... Kind of similar to one in the new Kate Moss range.

Thunderstorms
Though exciting, it also means no TV, and no sunbathing.

Not a NOT but...

Oh and Tie Dye!

SUCCESS!

Fancy France Photos

L.M.C.B IS M.I.A

Missing in action, not the Sri Lankan/Cockney singer.

I'm staying in France at my dad's house with him, my mum and my dog until Wednesday, so i've had no chance to post, and i'm only skimming over my favourite blogs.
The weather so far has been lovely. I was sitting under the grape vines this morning learning about the British Monarchy (Yawwn) and it was just lovely, the sun beating down. I had to take my leggings off and just sit with my adidas tennis dress on.

Regarding shopping, i've bought a couple of little bits n bobs, a gold eyeshadow pen, a couple of gorgeous silk scarves for a euro each, a white t shirt to do some more tie dying (omg I so have to put a photo up of my latest success!) and this little crop lace t shirt which is quite similar to the Topshop crochet vest crop top.

I promise some pics are to come.

In other news, if you have me on Facebook or Twitter, then you will already be aware of my obsession with Twilight. I bought the film a week ago, and only watched it on Monday, but since then I haven't taken it out of my Mac. It's amazing. Edward Cullen. Oh my days, he is incredible. I can't wait for the next film to come out! Anyway, on the drive down to the ferry, I bought the Twilight book and the He's Just Not That Into You book, which is hilarious! Love it!

The journey down from Liverpool to Portsmouth was great, smooth sailing, until we got into the queue for the ferry, and my mum's car decided to semi break down, so the guy from Jaguar/Land Rover was called to the queue and semi fixed the car. Until we arrived in France, and we broke down in Caen, bare in mind, my Mum's Jag has only got 5000 miles on the clock, this is not good news. Long story short, we were stuck outside a hotel (which wouldn't let us in because of my dog,) until after Midnight. Arghh what a pain! Finally managed to get a hire car, and it turns out Obama is in the North West of France in a week or so, and that is going to be one of the cars in his convoy! WIN!!

Post to follow with pictures.

Peace ladies, have a great weekend!

P.S I woke up the other night to hear my Dad scream... He'd fallen out of bed! Hirarious!

Topshop's style updates

How lovely was the image sent out today of their new range? Plus there are some lovely items, espesh the flowery play suit. After the success of my bleached play suit, I seem to have caught the bug.
Slightly morbid name though for such a beautiful image.
